Enter an Address, State, City or ZIP code into the "Zoom to:" text box and click "Go" to find a specific location on the map. This information will be displayed as the center location of the map. When entering a city, you will also need to enter either a State or ZIP Code. An Address will need to be paired with a City and State or a ZIP Code. Using proper punctuation (i.e. Omaha, NE,) will help to increase the accuracy of your matches.

There are several ways to zoom in and out of the map:
- Enter" an Address, State, County, City or ZIP Code into the "Zoom to:" text box and click "Go" to zoom into a specific location of the map.
- Use the plus or minus buttons at the top left to further zoom in or out from a point of interest.
- Double click on the map itself to zoom in and out.
- Use the scroll wheel on your mouse to zoom in and out.
- Place your curser in the top left corner of the area you want to view, then hold the shift key, as you drag the curser to where you want the bottom right corner, release and the area you have highlighted will zoom in and center on the map.

There are several ways to move around the map:
- Click on the map with your left mouse button and move the mouse to reposition the map.
- Use the arrows on the navigational compass to pan around the map.
- Use the plus or minus buttons at the top left of the map to zoom in or out from a point of interest.

First you will want to enter an Address, County, State, City or Zip Code to zoom into a specific location on the map where you want to start drawing your shape. Click on the “Draw Shape” button. Choose the location on the map you want to begin drawing your shape, click on the map to create your first point. Draw a line to the next point, click on the map again to create another point, continue plotting your points when finished double click. A pop up will appear with the number of available leads. Click "OK" to accept the shape or "Delete" to remove so you can re-draw it.
- Click the “Draw Shape” button again to draw another shape, you may draw as many shapes on the map as you like.
- To exclude a shape from your results, once you have drawn the shape, select the “Exclude Shape” option in the pop up.
- To rename a shape click on the name section in the pop up or from the results panel and type in any name you would like displayed on the results panel.
- To edit the shape, hover over any corner and click, then dragging the shape to make larger or smaller, double click when finished to accept your changes.
- If you have multiple shapes on your map and you want to see them better, click the “Show All” button and the map will reposition itself so you can better view all of your shapes.
- To view your record results click "DONE".
- Clicking the “Clear All” button will clear all of your shapes allowing you to start over.

First you will want to enter an Address, County, State, City or Zip Code to zoom into a specific location on the map where you want to define your radius. Then click on the “Define Radius” button. Click the map to create a center point, and then move your mouse away from the center point. When you have reached the desired distance let go of the mouse and your radius will be displayed.
- Click the "Define Radius" button again to draw another radius, you may draw as many on the map as you like.
- To exclude a radius from your results, once you have drawn the radius, select the "Exclude Shape" option in the pop up.
- To rename a shape click on the name section in the pop up or from the results panel and type in any name you would like displayed on the results panel.
- To edit the radius, hover over it and click, then dragging the radius, left or right, or up or down on the map, double click when finished to accept your changes.
- If you have multiple shapes on your map and you want to see them better, click the "Show All" button and the map will reposition itself so you can better view all of your shapes.
- To view your record results click "DONE".
- Clicking the "Clear All" button will clear all of your shapes allowing you to start over.
Return to menu
Click on the "Boundary Select" button. Select the type of geography boundary you want by clicking one of the radio buttons. The map will display the boundary lines based on the geography you selected. You may need to further zoom into the map to see certain boundaries.
- To select boundaries on the map, hold the Ctrl key and use your mouse to click one or more geography areas.
- To exclude a boundary from your results double click on it and select the "Exclude Shape" option in the pop up.
- To rename a shape click on the name section in the pop up or from the results panel and type in any name you would like displayed on the results panel.
- To turn off the "Boundary Select" feature click the "Return to Tools" link in the top right corner of the page.
- To view your record results click "DONE".

Click on the "Drive Route" button. Enter your starting and ending addresses, along with the buffer distance in miles (this is also known as the width of the route). To help pinpoint a certain location it helps to also enter the City, State and Zip Code along with the starting and ending addresses. Once you have entered your addresses click the "Create Buffered Route" button to see the shape on the map.
The wider the buffer distance of your drive route, the more leads you will receive. Currently drive routes default to the shortest possible distance.
- Click the "Drive Route" button again to draw another route, you may draw as many on the map as you like.
- To exclude a route from your results, double click on the route you want to exclude and select the "Exclude Shape" option in the pop up.
- To rename a shape click on the name section in the pop up or from the results panel and type in any name you would like displayed on the results panel.
- If you have multiple routes on your map and you want to see them better, click the "Show All" button and the map will reposition itself so you can better view all of your routes.
- To view your record results click "DONE".
- Clicking the "Clear All" button will clear all of your routes allowing you to start over.

The address you entered does not match a geographic code in our software database.
Check the spelling of the street name or city you entered to make sure you did not miss spell it. The mapping software will attempt to match misspelled words but sometimes it is not successful.
You may need to enter more information to find a match. If you entered an address that is not found, you should also enter a city and state or ZIP Code.

Click the "Delete" link in the Results panel. Or delete map selections from the Review Criteria page of any search that contains map shapes or polygons.

When you are finished selecting geography from your map click the "DONE" button and you will be able to view the records that are available on the Results page. Feel free to add more selection criteria to your search to narrow your list. You may also export your data.

Click the "Map Results" button on the Results page to see your records plotted on a map. You will see points appear on the map if you have less than 200 total records. If you have more than 200 total records, you will see a map with the boundaries of each geographic area you selected.
In the left navigation results panel tally results will be displayed for counts of 50,000 or less. The results are tallied by State, County or Zip Code depending on the zoom level.
- If more then 3 states are displayed the tally is done by state
- If less then 3 states are displayed the tally is done by county
- If more then 4 counties are displayed the tally is done by county
- If less then 4 counties are displayed the tally is done by Zip code
Some of the circles plotted on the map will appear larger then others. The larger circles represent multiple records plotted closely together. If you click on one of the larger circles a pop up will display allowing you the ability to view all of the records near that location by clicking on the forward and backward arrows in the pop up.
In the Results panel of the map you can scroll up and down to view address information for each of your points.

The mapping software bases the number it generates from the selections you have made from the map. If you add additional criteria to your search after picking your geography from the map, your count will change.

Print
Click the "Print" button to print the map for use in market research or for driving directions.
Collapse / Expand the Results Panel
Click "Collapse" to hide the results panel to have the map fill the screen width. Click Expand to reveal the results of your work.
Street
Click on the "Street" button located near the top right of the map, this will zoom in the map to view the street names. This is considered the last zoom level on the map. It can be useful for driving directions and to plot between multiple points.
Satellite
Clicking on the "Satellite" button located at the top of the map will zoom out the map to the highest possible level of the map. This level of the map will allow you to see areas of greater population that you may have missed when plotting your points.
Hybrid
Clicking the "Hybrid" button located at the top of the map will enhance the Satellite view in that it overlays the major road ways with their identification markers, it also adds city names and landmark identifiers.
Terrain
The "Terrain" button located at the top of the map will show you the physical features of your map such as mountains, valleys, vegetation, rivers and lakes. Knowing where these areas are may help you know where you don’t want to plot any points.

After you choose this button you will need to select the "DONE" button and then you will advance to the Results page which will display the complete list of all of the records plotted on the map. This button is selected by default.
There are two ways to get back to the original search:
- Click on the Browser back button.
- Click on the Map Based Search button in the Left hand navigation and the map will display defaulting to the results from the original search.

After you choose this button you will need to select the "DONE" button and then you will advance to the Results page which will display the list of records plotted on the map based on a current zoom level that is displayed on the map.
